WELCOME TO PIR 10/12/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Kellee, I think we'll go to Sarge's M&G as well...can't wait to meet you! We used to live in CA...in the Bay Area. Moved to WA with our jobs in 83. I'll be staking out the mailbox tomorrow!!

BP's Mom...nope, no letter yet...my mom is so sweet, she said they're probably so busy being in the push division that they haven't been able to write yet. Trying to make me feel better! Lol!

Kellee- that is too cute that she rescued a worm. Lol. I read that and smiled.

Love the questionnaire! I'm going to send it out too. I can't remember who said it but it will a hoot to post the responses =o)

DebbieT - yes!!! We are staying at the Navy Lodge! Still trying to figure out the best flights. Are you going to make it to Sarge's M & G? LOL...yup, just bills here too!

Lisvin - my son isnt in the same DIV but I'm in California =o)

Lala...Thanks! Yes, they are really close despite the age difference. She is doing better - 'rescued' a worm yesterday, so um yeah that is keeping her mind off her brother right now LOL

Mom of 2: I got my letter finally! I received it yesterday. My son is in the same ship/division as yours. I am in CA. Hopefully you got it today. It was short. He said he didn't have much time for writing. He mentioned nothing about how he was doing which was the main thing I wanted to know! He was too worried about telling everyone here how much he loved all of us. It was very sweet.

Finally got home to my letter....YEAAAAAA

He is doing great...says "All I have to do is Listen and address the person I am speeking to". He ws appotined EPO (Educational Petty Officer). says "Go figure this is a role that still has me taking charge" That is funny to me because he is a take charge kind of guy.  also " Marching is easy and Why do I have to be so tall?  I m a road guard for intersections, so I march in back of the ranks"...

.thinking to myself.ha ha Your Dad is tall and so is your brother you were doomed from the start  lol (He is 6' 4") .And I  said to myself   "well Son  there is a reason I stand in the kitchen yelling for a Tall Person I needed you to get food off the top shelf to make you grow taller.

So Great to read his letter even though I think ET  wrote it...That is not his wrighting but it is his signature...

I am going to send him the Questionnaire today so this should be fun.

GO Navy !!!!!
