This is such a busy group, took me 30 min to catch up lol. So happy to see some getting letters and even a few calls.
Dany thanks so much for sharing, that was very special.
Ms Wanda, you are one tuff mom. It is amazing what we can do when we have to :-)
Awesome pic Kellee, I bet they are super close.
And proudmona, love the letter!!!
Is there anyone else here that has a kid in Ship 11 Div 335? There is me and 2 others that are my friends; neither of us have heard anything. Only the form letter and the box. We are getting very anxious.
Got my first letter!! He sounds good, sounds busy, time goes by fast....I still can detect his humor though....I am relieved and thankful, can't wait to see him!
Quick question for my Navy family...... when our SR's travel after graduation by plane to A school or home on leave do they use their Military ID's for ID or their driver Lic?
LoriM; When they first arrive at GL, they are yelled at, shuffled around, and actually are kept up about 40 hours. It is hard---not surprised that some get sick! Or....maybe she just ate some bad food at the airport! :-)
Ladies, just another reminder that when sharing names of those who may know your SR, we can't post last names on here. You can use initials and hometowns if you want, and ask that N4Moms lady to private message you. Last names are forbidden on N4Moms for security reasons!
I wonder why she puked on her. Poor thing. I hope it wasn't because she was getting yelled at. LOL
Melissa: All spec ops rates are in the 800 group at this time so all are combined.
Thanks for commenting, marimom! Don't be nervous...post what's on your mind here any time! Hmmmm....on the "daughter being a project" comment....let's just figure that is a GOOD thing! Grooming her for nothing but the best!
hoppesmom: Yep, nothing like bonding as good friends after having one vomit on the other! Lifetime buds now! :-) Too funny....although I'm sure it was not funny to either at the time!
my questionaire is ready to be dropped at the post office. Share your kiddos responses as you get them. This will b e fun!!!
