We received a couple of letters in one envelope yesterday. Our SR sounds great! The first letter (by date) talked about it being hard, then the other letters were positive and talked about how much he liked it and how great the RDC's were at motivating them. He said he is making great friends (822). I have a suggestion for the younger siblings. My friend made a pillow out of one of my sons t-shirts for our 9 year old. She stuffed it, sewed up the sleaves, neck, and bottom. My daughter loves it! She sleeps with it everynight and carries it around the house. It gives her a peice of her brother to hold onto at all times. Hope this helps.
Hi guys good morning!!!
I just got a call from hubby! He's SHIP 11 DIV 336.
He's fine, had no chickenpox, passed on his first test (PT and swim). It as a very very quick call (2 min) and it was soooo good to hear his voice!!!!!
He needed me to fax our daughter's birth certificate, (because they can't find it there), so she can be included at Tricare.
And he also told me that he's getting all the letters I'm sending but they were not allowed to write yet.
So, moms, wives, girlfriends and friends of SR at the same division ... our letters are not coming yet.... : (
But I needed to tell you all about it! I was concerned about my N4M friends waiting for a letter!
God bless you all!
got my first letter also, he is in ship11 div-331, he says is hard but he is making it, he says he loves marching!! and that he really likes his camo blue uniform, I guess they are doing good, hopefully we keep getting their letters to keep us going.
@ RobynS I live in Tx too hope you get yours soon.
Got my letter yesterday...He is doing good, food is not so bad, he hasnt gotten yelled at alot, LOL... But he is homesick, I know that is normal but made me feel bad, he said they only thing keeping him going is know that God had a plan and knowing he would see us Oct. 12...so I will just continue to send encouraging letters and I know he will be fine... He wants everybody to write :)
Good morning all! Kellee, what a wonderful picture! Joanie, the address we received is on Sailor Drive. Let's hear from what our SR had to say in the letters. It helps us all.
Twins in 327 - still no letters in Tx - ugh!! Thanks for sending all the letter updates - it helps!
