WELCOME TO PIR 10/12/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Kellee - Here is some additional info to add to ellen's. It is also from the RTC Website...from their FAQ ...as all attending need some form of ID. It gives the guidelines for that.

Q.
How many guests per recruit are allowed to attend Pass-In-Review?
A.

Recruits are permitted to place up to four names on the access list. Please coordinate with your Recruit as only Recruits may place names on the list. RTC can neither change these names nor release the names of those on the list. Children age 12 and younger do not need to be listed on the access list and will not count toward the maximum number of guests. Active Duty and Retired military personnel will not count toward the maximum number of guests and do not need to be listed on the access list, but must present a valid Active Duty/Retired military ID card. The four guests on the access list will be admitted into the ceremonial drill hall first. Additional guests not on the access list will have to wait inside the Visitor Center until after the start of the ceremony at which time they will be allowed into the ceremonial hall if additional seating is available as space permits. No additional seating can be guaranteed. All guests 18 years and older, must present valid government issued photo identification (driver’s license, state ID card, passport, military ID card). Guests 17 years or younger who do not possess one the items listed above must present one of the following: school ID card, driver’s permit, copy of their birth certificate or social security card. PLEASE DO NOT CALL FOR ADDITIONAL SEATS.

Kellee, Children under 12 do not need to be on the access list, only those 12 and older.

Hey...me again with my crazy questions.....coming across conflicting info regarding children attending PIR. Recruiter said our 6 1/2 (1/2 is very important right now lol) year old daughter needs to be on the access pass list. But I've read in other groups that kids under a certain age do not need to be on the list?

This will be longest she has ever been without seeing her brother and she's really having a tough time =o(  What has helped is that he took her to Build-a-Bear and made a 'Navy" bear with her and put a voice message in it, she sleeps with it EVERYNIGHT. Does anyone else have younger kids who are having a hard time with the separation?
