Hello!!! I think I'm in the rigth group lol. We just recieved the form letter; our son is in Ship 03 Div 337. Anyone else?
Miss Wanda. my son called this morning he's in same ship/div as your son - he said he's ok - they are getting well fed - not much sleep and it's everything he thought it would be. He told me that others in his ship/div were going to be making the security phone call so maybe you'll get to hear from him. It was great to hear his voice. I love him sooooo much, he's such a great kid - just like all our kids - They are all so special. I got the feeling he was telling me about "others" making the call so I could let everyone know - he kinda of said it with conviction - He know's I'm on N4M's. He also said they all got to write on Sunday so we should have letters later this week :) Stay strong we can do this x
diannep - that's why I foster mommas and their babies - trust me you bond with them but after 8 weeks of poop and pee - you're glad to see the little poop factories go to their forever homes :).
This group already has 70 members!
Yah for the calls home for info! Hoping that even more come in!
Ok, Ms.Wanda. I hope you smacked that recruiter before you hugged him! Nothing like making your heart stop! Sounds like a wonderful recruiter to put the personal touch in like that. Find out who his commanding officer is and after bootcamp is over, write about your positive experience with this recruiter to his commanding officer....that will help him alot! We LOVE good honest recruiters and want them to get their just reward!
And, yes, bring the kids to PIR! What an experience for them! They can attend the MeetandGreets the night before also....there are 3 of them and all are family friendly!
DomsMom: This group starts with Div 327....so for sure you are in the right place! We are hoping that RTC posts all of the divisions in this group soon on their upcoming grad page.
Yes, Sub Dad. The ship number is the barracks number (several divisions in each).
My son's recruiter just stopped by our house my heart dropped to the ground thinking the worst. I opened the door and said Hi! What Happened??? and he smiles and said "nothing calm down! I just want to make sure everything is ok and that you have received his box and form letter". (you know what they say no news is good news so having him on my doorstep worried me). He also said one of his recruits had seen him at bootcamp and that he was fine. What a relief!! I thanked thanked so much for taking his time to come over and make sure we are informed about everything and that we are also ok. Told him about my little ones being sad and he recommended me to take them with me to PIR and see the bright side of this wait...so I will definitively do that!!! Can't stop smiling but emotional at the same time missing him soooo much.
HAA! Funny story, mommaross! You have a wonderful heart to foster all of these dogs. And your "kid" knows that! And knows how to get the girls too under this pretense! :-) I walk my two 3 miles a day....2 in the morning, 1 in the early evening. Even went to get a 3rd rescue dog (but didn't connect with this one....he was adopted shortly after I went to see him)...all thought I was nuts as a single lady here. I came to my senses and realized it may be difficult to walk 3 large dogs for that distance at the pace I go. But you never know....I still take a peek at the Rescue site often! If I fostered dogs as you do, they would never leave my house.....I'm such a sucker for them. I bond way too fast! I applaud you for doing your wonderful work with them and being able to release them to good families as you do. I need to "toughen up" a bit! :-)
Keep up your good work!
Received the form letter today. Have been waiting for the mail lady everyday. My SR is Ship 03 Div 337. Counting down the days until we can see him.
