WELCOME TO PIR 10/12/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Mommaross I have not yet received our DVD (we live in MI).  I was hoping to have it for Thanksgiving so we could all watch with the extended family.  Hopefully, for Christmas.

Wow!!! What a journey it has been for us all already. Yet its only the beginning. I hope all is doing well and your sailors as well. May you all be blessed and stay strong throughout the adventure that has just begun. I keep you all in my prayers still. Since day one. God bless you all. :-)

XOXOXO

I just want to thank every single one of you for all your comments, I know I didn't comment much but I was here everyday at least twice a day, I couldn't have made it without all of you, I was there Friday and it was fabioulous, didn't got to meet anyone we got there Thursday late, Friday was crazy got up really early when we got there there were at least 30 cars in front of us but made it well ahead of time, sad to say goodbye to him again, he flew out very early on Saturday and we headed home too. My Sailor was the one with the division flag 331 he was in front so it was easy to spot from the beggining, love the way they looked, its amazing to see the change on them. May God be with all of them wherever they go.

I am going to virginia Beach soon and would love to hear from anyone who lives in that area. I am hoping to be able to meet several moms/wives etc from that area and either have a small party or at least all go out to dinner together. If you live in the VA Beach/Norfolk area or close enough to drive and want to join us please send me a friend request or message. I love meeting other Navy Families :-)
