Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Got a phone call today got to talk to him for like an hour he says it's not as hard as he thought it would be but it's still hard they also got to send letters today so it will be here sometime this week I'm so excited he said everything was good and hopefully he will be able to call again this weekend coming up hopefully he has a big test on Thursday so they have to study alot but he is good and willbe one of the ones holding the flag at the ceremony I'm so excited I can't wait!!!! 5 weeks and 5 days left!!!

This is great information, thank you. We went ahead an booked our flights Thursday through late Sunday, just in case. Fingers crossed, we will get to see him through the weekend...I sure hope so.

Make sure if any of you get a phone call to let us know and let us know how your recruit is. I am praying and praying and praying a little bit more for a phone call.

Hey Iowa. I am happy that you are able to stay strong. You know we are all here supporting you. I hope everything turns out to be okay. Please do keep us posted and let us know what is going on. I hope he can stay and restart training.

Thanks Lynne! I got your message on the other page. It means alot to have your support, and everyone elses thru this horrible time. He is on ship 04.. which isn't the ship that is listed on here for being the sick and injured ship, so I'm confused on that part. I'm thinking its just like a holding part.. for those that will be seperated or chance of. Once I find out I will pass it on, so that heaven forbide anything happen to the remaining sailors.. you're aware. I hope you're all holding up well.. sailors should be writing today! Wed. will be here before we know it!
