This is the final test for your recruits. When they pass this, they are sailors and trade in their recruit cap for their sailor cap in a capping ceremony afterwards. The ship they do this on was designed by Disney, so it is very realistic. During…Continue

Okay, first, not getting a phone call does NOT mean your divisions (sailors) have been in trouble. RDCs "promise" phone calls if the division does X, Y and Z. And then make X, Y and Z impossible. Recruits NEVER get division phone calls in the first three weeks of training (and no, processing does not count toward training weeks). The RDCs use these calls that never happen as tools to help break down the recruits. It's yet another thing for them to hold over the recruits heads to get them to work hard.
This week marks your sailors second or third week of training, depending on if they are in early or late divisions. Your first phone calls may start late this week, and those in late divisions, early next week.
THEY WILL NOT GET ANY CALLS UNTIL THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR THIRD WEEK OF TRAINING.
Sorry for shouting, but I just want to make sure you all understand this. They did nothing wrong. It's just the way boot camp works.
It's even worse for the Dec 18 PIR group, they won't get their first calls until their recruits have been gone for more than 5 weeks.
heather... I believe we have to be out of the M and G by 10 or 1030?
ProudUSAMom is this correct?
Lets hope we can figure this out....anyone????
BB---ok using my new phone to read these post is not working out to well .lol But I am home finally from vacation and on the BIG screen now...
I just posted a little while ago that I just realized we have gold/tan as our division color so yes everyone has yellow as main scarf and then we add our division color which will be the gold or tan....I am going gold. Little more noticable and less likely somone will have gold on yellow UNLESS they are 804! hahahahahhaa
So maybe we need to send a mass PM to all our 804 family on this ..????
I have 8 of us including me for 804, that sound right?
Pench, Mapakids, Momofahousefull, BB, Catdel, Mamawalrus, Send2herb sailorgirlforever,
Is this all the 804 ???? Did I miss anyone?
Please PM me or post on this site!
Thanks.. and sorry, just trying to update my cheat sheet that I lost
Thanks Heather, I'll definitely check tomorrow. Btw, I know, totally off topic, but do you have a site where I can view your portfolio? I love looking at a photographers portfolio!
And yay! 39 more days!
