Hi Terrijean, my son is Ship 12 div 101 too. He left for BC on 1/18 we thought PIR would be 3/18 but his letter said 3/11. I thought it was a mistake, but now i guess its correct.

I got a letter today, along with a letter written to his 6 year old brother, it was ok, he talks about being yelled at everyday, and that it is hard to keep emotionally stable, but that thinking of us keeps him pushing forward. i have been crying since, thinking that he is misrable, he is so young and has not experienced anything outside of my home.he also mentions something about a pass program, to help him deal with all the yelling that goes on. do any of you know what this is?i am so happy to hear from him, but emotionally this is so hard.

As JakesFiance said, yes, most of them get sick while at bc...probably a combination of all of the shots they got and being inside most of the time, piled on top of one another.  One thing that goes around alot is piinkeye...yuck. Most do fine without having to be setback because of illness.

a lot going on  in that Div. My son's girlfriend told me he is a little sick in her letter. I am so happy that Jake's fiancee and two girls received news  Did they say if they are receiving letters yet?

He got them pulled on Tuesday, but he said he's doing alright. He's gettin' better from being sick. He will still be able to go to PIR.

They do mainly get sick once they go in. It's common.

JakesFiancee wow if he got 2 wisdom teeth pulled and is sick with the flu, is he driving on with training?  Will he be able to be in the PIR?  If so WOW.

twogirls sound good too, but he is sick too...I am seeing that a lot.

Is it part of BC to be sick?

Hope both of them get well.

I got 5 letters and two for my 1 month old son! I feel so much better now, he says has a cold but passed the swim test and can already run a minute under the time and do the amount of other things they have too. He said the food is really good and he feels healthier than he's ever felt. He said the RDC's already like him and know him by name, he even asked me to pray for them because he felt so bad that they have to be there all day and then still drive home after lights are out. He says he crys a lot because he misses me and our baby but he couldn't go through with this if it wasn't for my support. I balled like a baby when I read his letters they were so sweet and romantic and sounds like he's doing amazing!
