Hi all! I thought this might be a good way for us to connect! So took the advice of some other moms. Hopefully we can get information on when we start receiving calls and letters and other info!

Ashlove2317,
I have my moments. Some days are better than others but I can't say any are good at this point. How are you? Did you get a phone call Saturday? I got one from my son for like three minutes. He sounded really tired but it was so great to hear his voice. It was my birthday and that was the best present ever. I'm not sure why he got to call. He just said, "they let us call for a few minutes." That call was like an adrenaline rush for me but it also broke my heart at the same time. How old is your son? And how is he?
JaredJen: You won't get the address with the box...the form letter comes separately (soon after the box, sometimes before the box!). Be writing your letters now anyway...then when the form letter comes you can slap that address on them and mail (you may want to number your letters!). Some ask the recruiter for an address and mail earlier. Just make sure that you doublecheck the recruiter's address with the form letter's because sometimes there is a difference (form letter is correct). They will will get the letters mailed to the recruiter's address, but it may take longer if it's wrong.
Remember, all mail is held from the recruits for the first 2 weeks of bc, at least. So don't be surprised if you have been mailing letters and they finally write and ask why you haven't written! They will get all that are held at one time!
Good morning! I just called the Public affairs office about Div 91 not being listed for PIR.
Left a message on answering machine. They didn't say that the office was closed for MLK day.
I hope everyone is hanging in there.
