Thanks I have been in knots since last week when I got that letter and have experience a million emotions since then I was so happy to get that call and hear I'm okay that's all any of us need ! I can finally sleep tonight knowing my son okay and he knows I love him and support him. I usually post on facebook pages with a couple of ladies that I have become friedns with the countdown I try to include different little sayings each night before I go to sleep so that when they awake they can see the days and my little message to them It's been a little tension breaker for them and I look forward to doing it each night It gets me through We have some with different PIR's and we get to share in their happiness as well as look forward to our own.
Reneric- That is SUCH good news! I think you were probably more relieved than any of us to get the call. It sounds like you taught him well and he was just venting to you when he wrote. I laughed and almost cried through your post. I loved that he thought you would be at the gate getting arrested, that is something me and my SR have joked about too!
I also really liked your idea about the countdown sheet. I think I am going to send my SR one too!
My son called his girlfriend tonight! She said he sounded very good...missing everyone was the hardest part of BC. ~blisters and wisdom teeth weren't a walk in the park though! Very relieved to know that things are going well. He also wanted to make sure that we kept writing!
It's almost time to flip the calendar over to April! I can't wait for PIR!
