Posted new location on Face Book.

Got to the Holiday Inn Express to check in, and they let us know the Meet & Greet had been changed.

The meet and greet has been moved from the Ramada to 110 South Genesee St.at the Green Town Tavern. The # to the tavern is 847 275 1635. The Ramada has been without power since Monday. The only just got power about 1 pm.

We have a new place. Southern Mom booked us @The Green Town Tavern. Address is 110 Denessee St. Wakegan. Phone # 847 275 1635. There is a restaurant and bar. This is not free for us, we will be on our own. We will order and then go to 2nd floor for our Meet and Greet. The mgr said he will be there to help us. The Ramada will post signs at their hotel with this info. Same time 6-8. Hope to c everyone there and please pass the word on to all you know. Thx, Lindee

...if that works out, post on here too so that the ladies can find the info!

Ok, I have a suggestion on the MeetNGreet.  There is a restaurant called Anastasias nearby:  3880 Northpoint Blvd

                              847-688-1317

Someone (LINDEE???) call them to see their status. They have accommodated MeetNGreets there before.  Then, if they can accommodate you, see if the Ramada will pass this info on to those who "show up" or call about the MeetNGreet.  Worth a try!  And Anastasias will give you a portion of the restaurant...for free....if you call now.  See what they can do!  Good luck!

Oh man... Everyone PLEASE SEE LINDEE SR'S MOM POST.
RAMADA SAID,
"NO MEET N GREET." Also encouraged her to cancel her reservations.
PLEASE start posting so that maybe you can gather somwhere. Call the RAMADA if you have a room to check your status. I am sure they will give you alternate hotels.
I stayed at the Navy Lodge. $65a night...no tax...2.5mile drive to PIR. Just need SR name and to bring them by at some point to verify. Not familiar with all the hotels. I'll try to start looking...and dianne should be here soon!
There are lots of restaurants near Gurnee Mall.
Be back soon

Enjoy PIR and let everyone know how it was when you get back.  Remember be flexible and have fun.
