I miss my PIR group moms!! Would love to hear from you all! I use to be glued to this page everyday!! As I was reading some old posts here, I was really sad thinking about you all. lets stay in touch. Everyone posts something about your new sailor!!!!! I'll start......... My son, Stephen, is at San Antonio, Texas in Corps school. he absolutely loves it! he will be going to phase 3 labor day weekend and then we plan to take a trip our there soon. At phase 3 he will be allowed to stay overnight with us in our hotel so that will be nice to not have to take him back. I am so glad that we are able to communicate often. How about you guys? Where are your new sailors?

Lindee - I would love to join a group on FB. When it's created, send me a message on how to get in. My son is at NATTC in Pensacola. He started classes last week and phased up Saturday. He was so excited to go to the mall yesterday. He also bought a new laptop and phone as soon as he could. Funny the things they think they can't live without. But I am also very glad about it since I can talk to him every day now.

LINDEE SR'S MOM...Hi good to hear from you.  I think your son is on the other base...NAS(?)...not Corry Station. They are about 10 mim apart.  My son has a laptop and new iphone (he bought immeditatly after BC...lol) ut no TV or game system.  They have a lounge to watch TV and a friend has a game system.  That is probable best for him.

you have to be invited to be in it and NO ONE sees what is being said.

this is a PRIVATE group, as I said.

I am also in a group on FB called Crazy Navy Mom's  We could start a  private group like that and then we could call our kids by their names.  Anyone up for that?

It's a lot more personal.

is RobynT still on here.  My son told me that her son is his bunkmate.

My son was classed up yesterday so civilian clothes and x-box are being mailed tomorrow.  He has a tv but no computer so he feels so LEFT OUT,ha.  I'm sure it won't be long b4 he figures a way to get a computer.  His at home wasn't a laptop.  He is in Pensacola also in AT, is that Corry Station?  I forget to ask him.  I think there are 2 there(?) NAS also?  He is Aviation Tech and starts class tomorrow.
