Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by Christy on July 10, 2011 at 9:19am: Elizabeth I have only had one call also...I had begun to worry as per other post families have gotten at least two. Quess 900 div stays busy with the extra stuff they have to do. A pic would help since I can not hear my SRs voice.

Comment by southern mom on July 10, 2011 at 1:51am: I went back and checked on the RTC fb page and the time they posted the results last week was about 12:30 pm. I thought that we would hear something by mid afternoon but no such luck! I am extremely proud of our division, win or lose, I know they did their best. I also would like to congratulate the winning div. for all their hard work!! I am so glad that they are ALL part of a bigger team called the U.S. Navy and that is the big picture. but as moms, we would love to know how our guys did in this "friendly competition"! I hope we do have some answers tomorrow guys! I guess this is one lesson of many that we will have to learn....... Patience!

It really does seem like every other week before this one there have been announcements, phone calls and pictures of PIR's and results of Captains Cup. Really we will all be happy for everyone that wins, we just would like to know who they are. Since 900 divisions seem not to get to call but once, a picture from PIR's might be nice, hopefully we could get a glance of our SR's.
