Gate passes for this group will be up tomorrow on the RTC site. Check the link that "Sandy" posted below during the day.

Also, RTC makes it clear that the password cannot be shared (for base security reasons), so hope you all have your form letter in a safe place because the password is in that.  If you have misplaced it, your SR can tell you the word.  Write and ask or remember to ask during the next call.

You can print out as many passes as you like!   Don't forget to read Lala's advice below on the password.

I think making it a 2 day trip is a very good idea. We drove last year from NC. Google said it was 12 hours and with stops, road construction and traffic delays it too 16 hours to get there. On the trip home it took 18 hours due to flooding in Chicago. It took 4 hours to go 35 miles. And I recommend having a regular old fashioned map with you. The GPS just kept taking us back to the interstate, which was closed. When my son joins a year from now I hope to fly up for PIR but if not I will definitely take 2 days going up and coming back.

Sandy's sailor son...we are driving from Oklahoma.  Leaving sometime the 13th driving over half way and then on in to GL on the 14th with time to get to the meet and greet.  We will have our 5yo granddaughter with us so going to make ita 2 day trip.  Thanks for reminding us of the password...I had forgotten that.

remember the password has to be typed in all caps if you can't get it to work you may have to download firefox or google chrome and try it again.

Christy, When are you flying out to Great Lakes?  Are flight was morning flight the day before.  We got lost on the way to the Airport and even though we were over an hour early. We missed our flight. The line at the check-in was too slow so Frontier Airlines had to put my husband on a flight to Midway, While myself and our children flew Southwest to Milwaukee (forgot the name of the airport.)  It whole day was like the movie Home Alone.  We didn't arrive at the Ramada Inn until 10pm that night. We missed the Meet & Greet.

If we had to do it all over again, we would have just got tickets to Milwaukee and driven 35 minutes to Great Lakes. So much easier than dealing with O'Hare or Midway.

Christy, thank you for bringing that up about the car passes.

Your password on the Form Letter is needed to get your parking pass.

Here is another site where you can download.
