hey Ladies, I can't get this site on my phone and haven't been on a laptop for 2 days!!!  It was so great to pull this up and see 12 days pop up!!!!  In 40 minutes or so we can see 11 days pop up!!!!!!!  WOW, we can all meet and greet in just 11 days.  I am almost beside myself.  Our kids (ha) have a lot going on now, don't they...so very exciting.  Missed chatting with ya'll.  Hope all are having a great 4th weekend.  My cousin had 9 slabs of ribs on the grill, yum, can't wait to indulge, she is super on the grill, unlike me!!!!!!!!!

I just had to ask..... how many of us are watching that little PIR clock waiting to see if it has changed to another day closer? lol  I am counting down the days and I add this to my letters lately so that he knows how many days left. Caught myself checking it 3 times already this morning!!! lol  Gotta love it!

Thanks Lala for all your hard work on these ribbons. I can't wait to get mine!! Christy.... I'm right there with you girl! I have done the same thing even to the point I was hoarse the next morning after a game! I know we can't do it there but I most definitely will be cheering on the inside as well!! I'm sure we all are!! I am so ready to see my SR!!!! Now we need to cheer them on this week in our letters for the Captain's cup coming up! Whatever your div. may be!

Ladies I have cheered my son on for years shouting for his band or what ever else he does.  Not sure we can shout for the division at PIR  when they march in but I will be the one shouting on the inside.

I tried to mail ribbons out on Friday afternoon. I had no idea the post office would close early on Friday, be closed all days on Saturday and be closed again tomorrow. I think that is more time off than most people get for Christmas. At least they still delivered the mail yesterday even though the office was closed. The PIR ribbons for this group are being shipped this week. Please let me know when you get them and remember if you send me a message on this site and I don't respond that means I didn't get it. The email here is not working like it should. You can email me at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com   Thanks :-)

Christy, It all depends on where they are as to what type of watch they are on. For example: When my son has watch at GL he guards the deck of his ship(barracks). He makes sure Sailors sign in and out of base. He also makes sure that no one is smuggling Alcohol or anything illegal into the barracks.

especially if the whole division had to do some form of punishment because of something I did! lol  Just thought it best to double check everything!! Have a great weekend!!!

thanks so much dianne! I got a bit panicked when another mom told me not to that if may cause my SR to get into trouble! I was frantic with worry that I did something wrong! Whew! lol

Great Pics of PIR 7-1. There is a link on their site of the newspaper with more pics too.  Soon it will be our turn.  My SR talked of having to do watch but didn't say what kind.  So do they do different kind of watch?

By the way, ladies.  Those answering questions on RTC FB are civilians. I was told that by someone who works for GL A School Base.  Not that it matters.
