LadyLancelot- (BTW-I REALLY like your name. Fan of the "King Arthur" stories!) You are more than welcome...and yes I have had MANY step up for me! They are still doing so!

Duh...I am running around like a nut and didn't see that you had accepted. I deleted my comment from your wall.

I will email you privatlely-'K?

Gwendolyn, When my son was in boot camp it took a month before I got any letters. Then I got 4 at once. There is a lot of studying for tests in boot camp. I can also remember going with out any letters after that to. If his division had a bad few days then they were not allowed to write any letter or read them. I remember many unhappy moms and girlfriends.  I think my son's division had some pretty tough RDCs. LoL

THANKS for all of your posts. My sailor has not written one time it's good to at least hear something about what is going on. I did get a phone call last Friday.

keger2001 it does get better.  The first couple of letters he was so down and missed us.  I got a letter 2 days ago (he has been there 4 weeks) and it was so different.  He talked about good days, laughing, and having some fun.  Keep praying it will turn for the better.

Christy:  I have no doubt that is true!  Probably with his precious little girl on his back if need be!  So sweet....

Lala thanks as a Fathers Day card got sent from his daughter to him and it was blue.  But I told her daddy would do pushups all day to hear from her.

Fireteamleaderwife, thank you, I received your friend request and responded but don't really know my way around this site. Hope you got my note. I would be very interested in the advice from your DH. On top of everything else, I am very worried about how my son will handle this news. I am learning though, that in a crisis, some people just step up. Thank you for doing so.
