For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

He called as I just finished primping for that cermony this evening, so it made it easier to hold back th happy tears cuz I couldn't ruin my makeup. I wa able to enjoy just talking to him. It was so amazing to hear his voice :) his voice actually sounded so different because he was hoarse due to all the "singing" (yelling) he has had to do. Found out he is 2nd in command :) I'm so proud of him! He is really doing so well! I cannot wait to see him at graduation! I am glad I have you all to share this with. You all have really kept me educated about everything and it has reall helped!

I stay quiet but read every thing... thank you all you help so much& dont even no it, my prayers are with all our young adults . They are not kids anymore!!

I have a feeling they will get to call again before BattleStations time. They can "earn" a call home....so keep that phone handy!

I had seen all the messages here about phone calls being received but didn't think she would be calling until Sunday because that is what she had told me when she last called so I was out cutting the grass. I had a voice mail where she is crying but mentioned something about 5-0ing a test? It was VERY hard to understand her and had to have my husband listen to the message also to figure out what she was saying. I am soooo upset because she said the next time they would be calling was after Battlestations 5 weeks from now...ughhh!!!
