Exactly Diannep, plus sometimes trying to make sure five people all get everything they need gathered for the trip makes me feel like i am trying to herd rabbits....everyone going in a different direction..lol :-) the list helps keep them corraled

Diannep, thank you for the heads up. I was actually thinking about that yesterday and wondered if it would be cool inside or not. Wanting to make sure the girls are dressed approperately.guess i will put sweaters on their list of clothes. Lists are my way of feeling like ihave some cotrol over this...lol

Betsy, son on Stennis. Thanks, i'm not going to go that far but i'm thinking she should hold her own. I'm just very proud of the woman she has become, she has been around our family since she was 16, she is an older recruit and has two girls at home so it was a hard decision for her to make to join up. I'm proud of my son for stepping up and becoming "mom" while she does this. I have been blessed with good kids and i tend to brag about them :-)

navyknit, I was living in NM when my son was in BC and my letter day was also Thurs.  JDM, sounds like your son did a great job.  I bet she is outshining the guys.

Good morning!

Just a headsup from some who were at PIR last week that the PIR Hall can get a bit chilly so bring a light jacket/sweater!

Lala my son was helping her get in shape before she left, they had been doing the obstcle runs where they lived so it wouldn't surprise me if she out did some of the guys :-)
