Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hang in there for that call... My Son called at 5:14 EST. Oh it was great to hear his voice! Even though he was shakey, and misses everyone. Has lots of mixed emotions right now, but they will get their mail TODAY! Now they will get their mail daily so keep writing!! Oh I can't WAIT to get my hands on him!!! Come On Graduation!!!!

Recieved my letter yesterday from my son, he is ship 3 Div 231 does anyone know if there is a group, I haven't seen anyone in that Div. yet.
I'm so happy for those who recieved there calls, can't wait for mine!

Joana1.1.10~ No he did not say anything about the others,it was a quick call.I know that 5 posts down from yours Joshuakeith heard from their son also. what ship/div. is he in? I now that Joshuakeiths son and mine are in the same ship/div. I hope you hear from him!

proudmom- I am so jealous you got to hear from him!!! I am dieing not being able to hear my boyfriends voice!!! And I was nervous too about not hearing anything or not getting anything but yesterday I got a call from his mom with all the info.. Did your son say that anyone else can get a call?

It must have been just to let me know the change in the PIR date. Either way it was nice to hear my babies voice! and I was able to ask how he was, and he said everything is fine and he sounded good.

I just heard from my son! they let him make a quick call to say Hello, Boy was that a surprise, I started crying! He is doing well and said that it is the 1st of July that they graduate. Boy will I sleep better tonight!
