FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Such good news!!! Continuing to pray for your little granddaughter, and her parents, for a full and speedy recovery. Tell her she can pretend she's a little pirate with the eye patch. She needs a stuffed parrot!!!

Pam you let us know if there is anything we can do other than the prayers and hugs we are sending to one all! I am only an hour or so away... Ready with Navy mom love if needed!

Sending out prayers to your granddaughter and dil for successful surgery and speedy recovery!!! So sorry to hear of the accident and I'm sure it's tough for you not being there. Hugs to you and your son!!!

((((HUGS)))) coming to you Rebecca! It is so tough each time to say goodbye... We miss their shoes by the front door and the lack of booming music from their rooms and the fridge door being opened continuously... But proud we are of who they are and the choice they have made!

You won't need more than a light jacket in May, Sha'. It'll be sunny more often than not, with occasional highs in the low 70s. On rainy days, the high will be around 60. You can't count on consistently nice weather around here until mid-July through mid-September.

Rene... closest would be Everett or Whidbey Island... next would be Bremerton. Hope that helps!
