How exciting that your daughter is arriving at SeaTac and you get to pick her up! What a rockin' trip that ride will be! I wish I could be there at Bangor to see the look on the MP's face when you pull up! Have a great time together!

Donna and Barbooch,

Got a chuckle from your comments about your weather. It's in the teens here in NE Ohio. Friday we got above freezing so some of the snow started melting. Then Saturday morning we were back in the low teens and had a light snowfall - like you said Barbooch - just enough to make it look fresh and pretty. However it covered up a sheet of ice on which I did a "Charlie Brown going to kick that football" number. My feet went straight out and I landed full out on the ground. My husband was with me and he said it happened so fast he couldn't even reach out to try to break the fall any. I need springtime - fast!!!

June thank you for sharing such wonderful stories. It is so nice to know that others have seen such great personal growth in their sons! I know my son has grown in leaps and bounds. Growth that could have happened had he chosen a path other than the Navy. But I am sure it would not have happened as quickly.

Hello all! I also would love for my sailor to take on his boxes of treasures! He is finally moving out of the barracks and will have the space to take them. Before you ship things to your sailor check to see they have somewhere to store them! Some of the barracks have very small closets!
