I think I will get real sleep for the first time in 3 weeks!
SarahsMom - Congrats!! Thats awesome...can't believe it was such a long call - good for you!
My daughter DIV176 called at 5:15 CST today. We got to talk almost 45 minutes, I could not believe it...
She sounded great.Said P-Days were exhausting. Only issue is heel blisters from her boots but they are healing.
Passed her first PFA! Div 176 also won and Academic Flag for there scores on a recent written exam.
She said Sunday mornings are the best (she gets to take a longer shower and shave her legs)!
We also received her first letter today.
May 3rd has been a good day!
I saw that people got calls from Div 172... then I see 175... does the whole division usually go at once? or is it all completely random >.< I'm happy everyone is getting calls.. its just making me so anxious... somehow thinking I missed a call or he wont be getting one.
C's proud mom - That's awesome!!
It will get better in another week or so for her, ctav. By week 4 of training, they start feeling better...and they then have only 2 weeks until their final test---BattleStations! Hope you start getting some more positive letters from her soon.
Thanks Kathy. She was trying so hard not to cry, it broke my heart. She's so afraid of messing up and having her PIR date delayed. She said that 14 in her division have already been moved back for one reason or another (mostly ill health causing them to miss too much).
ctav01 - So sorry your daughter is miserable, but I am sure so many of them are. Hope she feels better soon and it's wonderful you got a call...Still waiting on my call - soon I hope. Hang in there.
Got my call from our daughter yesterday about 14:15 and she's miserable. She's had a cold from day one (she said most people are sniffling and coughing) and her division messed something up so they have an hour of IT every night. She's terrified of getting yelled at and she said the 171/172 girls aren't getting along too well. But the call lasted about 30 minutes and I kept telling her that her family was thinking of her every minute of every day so she was never alone. She also said that yesterday was day 2-5 and she's looking forward to firing weapons in week 4.
