s_amburgey, thanks for the update. No letters no call so far. I mailed her a letter today with a prepaid envelope and a sheet of paper with "Write your Mother" written across the top. It may be that she has not had the opportunity to write yet but to be clear, I wanted to make sure she knew I expected a letter. Hoping for phone call in the next few days!!
Have a great day!
Kim, beautiful family.
Good morning everyone!
CAB: That's a good question to ask your SR in a letter or if you get a call. Once you know the week/day count on a specific date, you can keep up. Just remember...they will move back a day after Memorial Day in the day count. Holidays don't count in training numbers. Neither do weekends.
Has anyone with a SR in Division 171 or 172 heard which week and day of training the division is on?
Beautiful pic!! YAY for 39 days...
She better get to it. I need to hear from her. If no letter before she calls home, she is going to hear about it......
kim, that is a beautiful picture, such a happy little boy. I bet you are very excited to all be together again :-)
Has any one in Div 176 received a letter??? My daughter better not think she is exempt from writing. HA!
Thanks so much Craig, I didn't know that about your daughter. How is she doing and when does she finish? We have kind of adopted this young girl and do a lot for her and treat her like she is one of our own. Her family life is not very good. She had to grow up way too fast and has to be the "adult" in the house. She plans all the meals, does all the shopping and cooking and can't really just be a kid. Her dad is in prison and her mom acts like a teenager all the time. So sad. But she is a great kid and we keep trying to get her to go Navy but she has wanted to be in the Air Force since she was tiny. We are running out of time to bring her to good side lol. I will check out that page and definitely send the link to her. Thanks again :-) and good luck to your "traitor" I mean daughter lol.
