kathyrc - Where did you hear that from? As far as the hormone shots? That's a new one for me...

Jess...for whoever said it...what about the ones that DON'T eat the eggs! LOL What about the Staff that eats the food? :-) This myth relates to Salt Peter...which does not kill the sex drive. The eggs sometimes turn a  blue-green color...this is from the iron/sulphur compounds in the yolk when they are overcooked. If you've overcooked your hard-boiled eggs you'll sometimes see this discoloration too.

I would say that it's the fact of being dog tired that kills it...for a while anyways (it starts to come back) that and BCG glasses...oh yeah...they changed those!

Kimmery- I would suggest going ahead and booking the hotel. As others mentioned it will be the first week of summer for most and there is an Amusement Park in the area.

I have not heard from my daughter since "the box". She has been there since 4/11. Hoping for a letter or call soon.......

Laurie, I am the one who makes the pins/ribbons to wear to PIR. Just send me a friend request on this site and I will send you the info. You can also email me at: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com if you prefer to reach me that way. Either is fine for me. Here is a link to my facebook page where you can see lots of pics. Just click on Photos and then more photos to bring up the albums with all the different stuff I make.

I will be away most of the day tomorrow. Tomorrow night is Prom for our 2 seniors so we will be busy with pics and all that fun Prom stuff most of the day, along with having a yard sale tomorrow morning lol. What was I thinking??? I will be back tomorrow night. Have a wonderful Saturday :-) Lora

Hi everyone, wondering about the TShirts and/or pins that can be ordered?  Any insight would be appreciated.  Thank you.

It is quite an honor to be selected for that position of authority in his division!  Be even more proud of him than you already are!  :-)

Gc0972 - I am so sorry to hear this...I hope she gets her waiver. Please keep us posted...lifting her up in my prayers.

I sent you a personal message. If you could make me an admin I can help the new leader along.

Please let us know how she is doing...there is a Group on here for seperations (if it goes that way) and we can give you the link. But let's wait and see.

Comment by diannep on April 27, 2012 at 6:48pm

Gc:  So so sorry about that....

If someone can volunteer to monitor the group, that would be great.  Gc, you can add that person as an administrator.  They would have the ability to delete posts in the discussions, change the page, etc...just won't be able to delete posts on this main page.   So if anyone in this PIR group can help out Gc and volunteer to be that person, please let her know.  You can add a paragraph at the top of the page that you will be the "go to" person from now on.  It really isn't hard...you will pretty much be like anyone else on here, but you will have the "powers" that I mentioned above.

Prayers for your daughter, Gc.....so there is still a chance she can stay with a waiver?  Or are they deciding whether to issue her a waiver at discharge which may allow her to re-enlist?  Prayers either way....I'm so sorry....

Comment by Gc0972 on April 27, 2012 at 6:16pm

I am sorry to say that someone else will have to take over this page. They have put my daughter in seperation for past medical issues and they will decide next week if they are giving her  a waiver or sending her home :( She is really bummed. I will keep you posted but even if they give her a waiver then her PIR date will be at a later date.
