If any of you are still posting on BootCamp Moms, please put the link to this group on there so others can find it.  Check the discussion groups too because some ladies start discussions for their divisions up there instead of here.  Direct them over here!

My Sailors are preparing for their first real hurricane experience. Please keep all our Sailors and everyone else along the East Coast in your prayers as Hurricane Irene hits this weekend. Thanks

oh yeah, as for the Meet n Greet, the Ramada Inn Waukegan hosts one the night b4 every PIR and it is open to all the navy family and friends, u don't have to stay at their hotel, it's for everyone. As for the A schools, your SR's will be going all over depending on their job, even from the same div, they will not all have the same A school.

I had no idea you could cut a box spring in half, learn something new every day lol. All I can say is my house is a very small 3 bedroom. We have 2 kids left at home and both are seniors this year. One is going to the Navy and one is going to college. I will keep one of their rooms as a guest room but one of them will VERY quickly become my craft room. I NEED my own space  to make ribbons and scrapbook embellishments. Maybe I could win the lottery and finish the basement lol.

Diane that was pretty quick for the form letter. Mine took almost 2 weeks. I actually had a real letter from her the day the form letter arrived. But she was in a push division and her first Monday there was a real Holiday so they got to write letters :-) I would think you all should have the form letters within the next few days.

Hi everyone, my son PIR'd from an 800 div back in April. It helps to start discussions for each ship/div so you can get to know the others directly living and training with ur SR's. Anyone can start the discussion for the ship/div. just click ADD a Discussion right under the battlestations discussion above. Hang in there and always remember... no news is good news!
