Congrats, Tina!  Hope the new couple adjusts easily into the Married Navy lifestyle quickly.  Open communication is the best advice to give them.  I'm hearing WAY TOO MANY horror stories from mom's on "The Bush" about what their kids are going through (divorces).  Both for kids in the Navy - males and females!  They are one and need to understand that...they need to support, love and care - esp in the rough times.  Best of luck to them!!!!

Are we all going to go to our neighborhood pub/bar/etc and toast each of us for surviving the first year on Sept 16th?   Pick a time and I'll lift my glass to us all.  Miss you guys and the support we had for each other during those boot camp weeks.

Cal - stay strong!  He'll come back around.

Tina - congrats.

As one that married at 18 (not prego) and was divorced by 29, yeah, I have personal feelings on marrying that young and it's not good.  But - some have to find out the hard way and some get lucky :-)

July 20th was the day my daughter took the oath to enter the Navy.  Hard to believe it's been a year, where did the time go?  Hope everyone has a good week!
