OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We have a Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link) for newcomers. It has everything. Videos, pdf files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. If you could pass the link to others who are new, we would really appreciate it. It looks like you are well adjusted. Thanks. The guide is also a featured discussion - on the Main page, middle section.

Hi Thank you for the friend request. My son is still in the beginning stages. He went to MEPS and scored high on  his ASVAB but when he went back  to MEPS for the physical he did not pass due to them requesting medical records. We're waiting and hoping for the best. Congratulations to your son :) Take care, God Bless and Keep in Touch :)
