We counted down the days till prom.
We counted down the days till his graduation.
We counted down the days till our most recent temporary move to GA (his Dad's job sends us all over the US).

A letter from Tyler was waiting for me when I got home last night. He's doing great! He's been promoted from E-1 to E-2, so now he's a Seaman Apprentice wearing a single bar (collar device). I am so proud! Eight days to PIR!!!

Hello all...my son is at Great Lakes and has a slight medical problem. He is able to participate in everything but the Physical training (PT.) We're hoping this will not delay his graduation as we have already purchased airline tickets. Does anyone have any experience or input on this? thanks

My sailor son is marrying his sailor fiance next week after his SERE graduation this Friday in San Diego. How soon can they get housing on base together? Is there something they can do to speed up the proces? They are in different bases right now, do they need to rent off base for a few months? I'm in the east coast and don't know how things work in the west. Thanks
Has anyone from Division 940 gotten the "I'm a Sailor" call?

I’m hoping to have a plan so we aren’t like a bunch a deer in the head lights. What have been your experiences and suggestions? I'm trying to…
