My son just left for Bootcamp this morning. This is the first time in 19 years that I don't know exactally where he is, how he's doing or if he's okay. Very tough I must say.

HI! To all of you who have graduated: Do you all know how strict they are about that rule? My son is scheduled to graduate in several weeks, but we're planning now. Both sets of my son's grandparents want to attend. Do people get around that somehow? Or is it set in stone? Thanks!

Oh my Goodness. I am now almost in tears from one of these previous posts. Nothing said that we could not write on the outside of the envelope. On the back of each letter I would write Day 1 Love your or Day 2 miss you in small letters at the seal. Are you telling me they threw away all of those letters. :-( that was a whole weeks worth of memories. Please someone tell me this is not the case, that they only do that in extreme circumstances!

Down every road you roam
And may sunshine and happiness
surround you when you're far from home
And may you grow to be proud
Dignified and true
And do unto others
As you'd have done to you
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart you'll always stay
Forever…
