Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sending you and your son prayers & ((hugs)) for comfort with this news. The good thing is he gets another chance to reenlist and I am so happy for him that he has you to support him to work on himself, so he can go back stronger and know what to expect, Mom you are doing a good job! My son prior to enlisting he started eating lean meats & lots of veggies he also hiked and ran a lot, I have faith your son can accomplish his goal too. God bless you both

I have gotten the whole family a membership to the gym, we will do this together and we will be there to cheer him on and challenge him. Prayer and family and lots of support will be what gets him through I believe. Thank you, everyone, for your support. I feel selfish almost, needing support when my son is the one who is going through this.

So, I got a call from my son just now. He missed his run by 10 sec and was put in a run training class. He said he sat in that class for 2 days, they didn't run even once! He took the test again and he missed by 2 seconds!
