OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Do you have a neighbor who will allow you to use their internet to see if you can access it? Maybe (If you haven't tried this already), you need to reboot your computer and then try again ... and if nothing else, try the library!

I'm planning on printing off a couple extra passes for us, just in case. If needs be, I can drop one off at the hotel where you're staying! You'll get in - don't worry, but I do understand the frustration!
Cindy - I have to say, I do believe I'm in the same boat as you! I think my stomach is doing flip-flops in anticipation for tomorrow's Battlestations! I've been saying some prayers for ALL of our group! We know they can do it!!

Bonnie - I'm thankful for no phone call as well! Ha! As much as I love to hear from Josh, I'm very thankful he hasn't had to call - and I pray it continues on through the next 36 hours - or until we ALL get our calls!

Well ladies - this is it! We're almost there! Can you believe it?

To Division 351 - FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS!!

HOO YAH!!
Woohoo. HOO YAH! AND DITTO! ;)
Haha.. yea I was going to say you could have one of mine.. i printed 3!!! But sounds like you're covered
Bonnie - I'm glad to know you are taken care of ... and I'm sure it's just a gliche that will be solved soon!

Candles at the ready, ladies!
I know right? Looking forward to the call. My future MIL is reconsidering where we will be staying for PIR. She is considering switching us over to Springhill Suites.
:)
She said: Checked on the Springhill Suites and they do have indoor pool but the room is all one room and there is no kitchen. Looks very nice though.
I had replied:
" I just looked and the coolest people in our PIR group, including one guy’s wife from Joe’s division, are staying at Springhill. Is there a cost difference"
Thanks for the info. I copied and pasted your reply in an email to her. I think it would be too cool to stay in the same hotel as you, Kate and Mary.
ITS OUR NIGHT TONIGHT LADIES!!!
woohoo!!!!!!
Hey! One of the coolest people in our PIR is staying at the Navy Lodge!! lol :-p (We are trying to keep this trip as CHEAP as possible!)

My candle is burning already and prayers are going up for both divisions doing Battlestations today/tomorrow! And prayers for those of us waiting by the phones are being said - for calmed nerves! lol

Bonnie - have you been able to get on the Navy website, yet?
Well we are staying with the residence Inn.
