Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division. He is 19 and will be a NUKE. I am so proud of him.

Got a letter from Josh today. He's glad processing is over and they are actually doing something and wants any news of the outside world (he's into sports). Says he will write after lights out to fill in details.
Congrats to all those that received real letters today!! I'm sure that ours are on the way!!
I got a letter. He sounds upbeat, said life there sucks. He has a rash on his hand that burns. Loves the food. Described dinner. Said it was a big division and they have lost a few. Lots of P days. Day 1-1 was Tues Dec 27. Was looking forward to 7 hours of swimming on 1-2.
A very happy and proud mom here. OK I'm ready for next weeks letter.
Yeah Connie...Now I know everyone else will get their letter today too....:)
Yay... got two letters today... eyes blurry from tears, had to read them twice! Working and pushing himself harder than anything he's ever done. Says as the days go on, they're all working more together. Loves hearing from home and loved ones.
Yeah Michelle.....I was feeling bad that I was happy yesterday, when there were some that did not get letters yesterday....so glad the letters are coming in today......
I am glad he is keeping you updated with the weeks and days...I asked in my letter last night to my SR, please let me know the week and day, because I am lost and don't know which week your on....haha
I sent a fill in the blank letter this morning asking the same thing. I will not be a be able to keep up with it on my own.
'm not sure. I think they don't count weekends and we are not sure if they counted Monday as a holiday or a normal day. I am hoping I will be able to figure it out with his next letter.
Is the PFA the run and the push ups and such? My SR was worried about the run before he left...his letter did not say anything about it.....but did say they completed the swimming and that it was easy...
It is. My SR said he did not pass the run part due to shin splints. I expected that because he would not train for the run. I don't think he will have any trouble passing it by the time they do the final one.
