Hi all... I have really enjoyed this site and appreciate all the help and guidance that you give to us. This is all very new and confusing!!! I have read so much about what will happen, what to bring, what to expect, etc, but I haven't seen anything about the basics that the men should bring to BC.
Not to sound too dumb, but do they bring a toothbrush? razor and shave cream? hairbrush? I feel stupid just asking, but haven't seen anything about toiletries for men.
Thanks a million and I sincerely do appreciate your help!!! :-)

They bring nothing. Maybe a dollar store tooth brush if they want to freshen up after the flight before they check in, and throw it away. They will get toiletries there, and it comes out of their first pay. This way, RTC can control what they bring in without having to inspect every single thing.
Thank you so much!! I really felt stupid asking, but that is a great explanation as to why... Thank you!!

You're welcome. Sometimes the Navy way seems obscure, but there's always a reason.
They will provide all of that. All they need to bring is their driver's license, social security card, debit card, bank information for their direct deposit and at least $30.00 cash and phone card. Do not buy the phone card. Go to callsforrecruits.org follow directions and they will email you 8 20 minutes phone card for your recruit. Hope this help.
