Dyls Mom- Thanks! Don't worry about it. I was just shocked at our bad experience in the Navy and so was the guy that we talked to the other day. I'd really never seen someone so livid. He even asked us if we were open to going back into the Navy. LOL... IDK what the options are going to be, but we're hoping something good will come of this.  There are bad people everywhere, no matter if it's the Navy or not and we just so happened to run into a bad group. I'm sure that other ships and bases are a LOT better..  and I'm sure your son is upholding the honorable standards of the Navy! Hooyah!

GOT THE FORM LETTERRRR:)
Comment by AJ on June 10, 2011 at 8:17pm

Hi all -- just a quick scan here tonight .... yup, it's gonna be tomorrow before I get to write much.

Donna -- check the file size of your pictures.  Sometimes they are just too big to be received, so if you reduce the file size (which generally is resolution only), they will more likely get through.  If these are just people pictures, shouldn't be a problem other than that.  I tired to forward an article to him today that was about wheezing and out of breath .... DENIED due to policy .... then I tried to cut and paste it in the email .... DENIED due to policy .... so I just sent him the url for the website and gave him the article name.  Geez guys ... this is a health related article.  Oh well.

I am so pooped, I can't even remember what else is down here.  I havce nothing more from Aaron so am practicing how to feel at ease in the not knowing ..................... (not so successfully) ...................... PROMISE to do better tomorrow.  Have a good night.  RSL!

Howdy all!

Sorry Donna, i have no suggestions for you.... not exactly the computer literate person.

Mrs B, glad to hear your story!  hope they can do something for you to make up for the heck they put you through.  It's sad to think that my son is in the same navy as your hubby was.....

nicole, hang in there.... you'll get the letter soon...  i think it was about a week after the box that i got the letter and it was only 3 lines.  i did find a receipt in his shorts from the airport where he ate dinner before going to GL... can you believe i bawled?!  yeah... i'm a crybaby!

mary, what's up with all the nakedness going on at your house?!   are you charging people to come take a peek?  lol!   that kid is lucky you weren't rolling on the floor in fits of laughter.  that would get him to pull his pants on!

so...i will say, that if i ever bought those onesy pj's for dyl's, he would disown me.  for real!!    he's so touchy about stuff like that.  i wouldn't mind having them but i had some way back when i was in high school and they were a real pain in the hiney!  because there was no hiney!  i had to zip them down, pull them down to go and put them back on.  i don't have that much energy anymore!

iris, glad your feeling better.  Hopefully things will turn in Haley's favor and things will fall into place.  sometimes it just feels all wrong and then something happens and your glad you stood your ground.

hurley, how are the boys doing?  keep us posted as to what they're up to..... i'm just sure the kids hate that we talk about them to people they don't know.   owell.... too bad.   mom's gotta do what mom's gotta do!  ha!

i was just thinking that it's almost a year since they left.... gosh i'm glad that year is behind me!  i seriously thought i was going to lose my mind.... at least now i know what it's like for him to be gone for awhile.  everyday i pass the recruiters office and i remember what it was like that day i dropped him off there....ugh!

so where is AJ?  anybody hear anything?   i'm gonna go check out fb and see if she's been on....

talk to ya'll soon!   rsl and all the good stuff!

OK now I am having the same problem with pictures that AJ had before except mine are just of my daughters nieces. Everytime I try to send her one or several it comes back as Denied by policy. My other 2 kids have no problem sending her pictures of the same kids I am trying to send. Anyone have any suggestions.

Ah... The kid in a box... Seems like just yesterday but it was almost a year ago!

Hey Mary, seems like Morgan has it all figured out. She's really itching to get her life started in the AF. My hubby is a product of the AF, he loved it. Ok, now this is a million years ago but he said BC was not hard at all. They didn't march much. More of a head game.

Hopefully tomorrow or Monday it'll be here. We live close so it shouldn't take long. Nothing on his phone. Just clothes phone and shows.
