Jane, you were missed for sure!   We had a cool tour followed by the Admiral's remarks, and more than anything it was so great to connect with each other - Navy families ROCK!  :)

@Syntia, do you know about Blue Star Mom's?  I believe there is a chapter on the east side.  I am on west side, we are chapter 4 Blue Star Moms of the Southwest Valley.  We are a very active group.  If you are looking for more activity a BSM group might be something you would enjoy.

I noticed we do not post very often, is it because we are not very active?

I was hoping for a I was hoping for a monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly get together for coffee or something of the sort. Do we not do those?

Please advise, thank you

Have a wonderful time at PIR, Kellismom!  I can't believe how time flies.  Hopefully we can have another meetup really soon.  Speaking of which - the Meetup with the Admiral is this Sunday!  We are going to gather in the lobby of the Phoenix Suns' US Airways Center at 1:30 pm, have a behind the scenes tour, then we'll gather for a snack that will be provided and Admiral Sanders, who is coming out from Maryland, will speak to us, give an update on what's going on with the Navy, and answer questions.  Parking is in the US Airways Center garage, entrance on First Street just south of Jefferson Street (the actual address of the Center is 201 E. Jefferson Street).  This meetup is for Navy moms and families, so bring spouse, children, sailor, friend!  If you haven't RSVP'd yet, please send me a PM or email me at marcy@marcyscott.com.  Can't wail to see everyone there!
