HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!
Hello all!!! My sailor just arrived in Washington and will be on the Stennis!! He's very excited about the Pacific NW and has been using this time to get his bearings and learn a little about the area before he reports on 5/16. He is married and they found a rental in Port Orchard. I look forward to getting to know you and learning more in this phase of my son's time in the Navy.

Just checking in here see how all the carrier families are doing.
Wow Pat (MP0 You did cover it all. thanks
Also, I got my son a nook and loaded books on it before I sent it to him since he was on deployment when we sent it to him.
Newbe question? My son will meet the USS E on deployment in June, this will be his first. He wants to buy a laptop to take....Any idea of how much room they have and if it's worthwhile or not to have a laptop... do they have access to internet? wifi or other? Do they take phones with them?
What do most take with them.... as in don't leave w/o it and what's best left behind?
