Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Information

This is for each of us who are anxiously anticipating that special day on 1/6/12 when all the effort, support and worry is coupled with our recruits hard work and dedication and will come to fruition. Each tear shed and moment spent on sleepless nights will not go away during the next eight weeks, but to know we have a support system where we all share the same goal, will help lift our spirits as we continue through this exciting journey together!!! Let the countdown begin!!!:)

OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Comment by Sukie on December 29, 2011 at 1:18pm: There are something like 8 divisions graduating on the 6th, so some are doing BS 21 this week and some are going next week--I guess. I am indeed an 07/034 Mom. Sounds like 33-36 will be next week sometime...

Comment by diannep on December 29, 2011 at 12:50pm: Lala, my sailor did the same thing! Just was calling like a normal call. I finally asked if he was a sailor, and he said: Yep, I'm a sailor. He sounded a little tired (of course-- since they had been up since the morning of the day before) but we talked an hour and it was a great talk. You could hear the relief in his voice that he had finally reached his goal!

Comment by jansu831 on December 29, 2011 at 11:38am: I didn't sleep much last night - I kept looking at the clock and wondering what they were doing. I am on high alert today! When you get your call PLEASE ask your SRs if the whole division passed (especially if you are in DIV 030 - LOL) and post it here as soon as you can. That will take the pressure off just knowing (if they all pass...) Have a great day and happy phone calls!!!

I answered and she said "hey Mom" I was like Hey? don't you have something to tell me? She was like um like what/ And I said "come on your killing me here, did you pass?" and she said "Yeah I passed how did you know that is what the call was for?" lol, silly girl Navy Mom Mom's know everything lol. I was totally bummed that She didn't say it the way I had played it over and over and over in my head hahaha But that was the best call in the world and she called me back 2 more times because other people she called didn't answer their phones lol.
