OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Good afternoon, ladies! Sorry it has been so long since I've been on, but I am proud to say that finals are OVER so I'll be on more regularly now! Yesterday was my sr's birthday and HE sent ME flowers! He must have had it planned out before he left because it came with a handwritten note from him. Needless to say, it made my day!
I remember reading that a division was hoping for calls today - let's hope they did well and get that call!
Have a great day, everyone!

...and by the way, JessicaBSailor was my mentor as well, even though we started in the same PIR group.  I miss her on here but know she is so busy with work.  She has such a huge heart, especially for N4Moms!

Well, thanks for the kind compliments, ladies!  But you N4Moms veterans know that we ALL work as a team here!  I learn so much from each of you...a constant learning experience.

Lala, so sorry that I missed meeting you when you were down here....feel like I know you already!  And FTLW:  You get the award for jumping in with both feet as our newest N4Moms veteran and being such a HUGE part of this site!  You do such a wonderful job getting the groups set up, helping with the page setup, with military protocol, etc...your devotion is amazing.

So...I applaud my fellow N4Moms veteran ladies!  Betsy and Sandy too!  Can't imagine being on here without any of you.

And, PIR 1/06 ladies....we love working with the PIR ladies...we all have "been" where you are...we know the emotional journey...our hearts are with each of you...and we truly want to help in any way that we can (and that means passing on info that you can tell your SRs to comfort them since N4Moms has LOTS of info!  :-0 ).

Hoping all have a wonderful Saturday.  Congrats, heather'smom, on the ribbon which will be proudly displayed on her uniform!  HOOYAH!

We all try but Diannep is amazing :-) She helped me a lot when my Sailor was there.

Did anyone get their PIR ribbons yet?

diannep: You are so helpful.  While I don't participate in a lot of the comments, I read these everyday to see what's new with our SRs and what's going on with other moms.  I would feel truly lost without the help of all the women on this site!

Comment by diannep on December 16, 2011 at 7:32pm

Ladies:  A caution to be careful what you post on these pages and in the discussion groups.  I had to delete a comment in one of the discussion groups that gave out way too much info about her SR...and too much negative info about the RDCs.  Remember...these are public pages...and they are read by the RDCs.  So best to remain vague with your info.  It is fine to post when they earn a flag, do well on a test, what activity they have next, whether they like the food, etc...just don't pass along "feelings" or opinions that your SR may have shared with you (which I'm sure your SR meant just for YOUR eyes and ears!).  Could get your SR and that whole division some IT!  So be wise in what you share here!

Popeye is correct on the move over to GL A School after PIR.  Make sure they have a phone card.  They can use that to call you from A School (unless someone already in school there allows them to use their cell).  They will call you when the move is done...and you will pick them up for liberty at the A School.  I believe you have to go on base and sign them out.  They have to return at night, but other than if/when they have "watch", should have daytime liberty througout the weekend if at GL A School.
