Spoke too soon lol, just got called in to sub for an art teacher. I will be back later. Have a great day everyone.
Good Morning Dianne and everyone else. No subbing for me today, YAY lol, I have so much to do. My house needs a good scrubbing and of course more laundry to do.... yuck. Someday I will be rich and have my own personal assistant and a maid.... lol then I will wake up and find out it was just a dream :-)
Good morning, everyone!
Good Evening! Sorry I'm late Folks!
Popeye's Mom: Big ((hugs) from here too! There is simply NEVER a good time for any type of crisis, but it sounds like you hard handling it like a strong, loving woman. Your family is in my prayers tonight.
Popeye'sMom, ((hugs)). Prayers for your husband's recovery. I bet hearing your SR's voice helped him a lot.
I am also very sorry to hear about your friend's passing.
Popeye! Wow....what a rough couple of days you have had! So glad that your SR got to talk to his dad and hopefully that assured him that he would be ok. I know you both enjoyed hearing his voice...and I can assure you...hearing your voices was such a blessing to him! Prayers for a quick and thorough recovery for your husband.
So sorry about your friend. I was at a surprise birthday dinner for a friend last night and we were saying how we never know what tomorrow may bring, but we have today...and we need to treasure what we have today. So true, don't you think? What we take for granted today in our life may be realized as a huge blessing tomorrow.
Having said that, blessings to all today and hoping that your mailbox is "blessed" with some letters from very specail SRs!
Good Morning all!
Good morning my Navy family! Lord, where do I begin? My husband is in the hospital with pancreatitis. Took him to the ER Sunday morning with severe stomach pain & after 6 hours in ER, they admitted him. Gotta love ER! The worst thing is the cure is no food so the pancreas can rest & he hasn't eaten since Saturday breakfast! He's not a very happy guy! Thank God for narcotics to ease his pain & knock him out! Now the great part-I didn't know if it would qualify as a real "emergency" but I called The Red Cross Sunday to just see if they could notify our SR. He got to call us Monday morning! That's the first time I talked to him since November 1st cause I missed his 1st real call home! Indescribable joy-he sounds great! He & Dad talked & shared some tears cause my hubby is a big man with a bigger heart! God Bless The Red Cross & The US Navy for letting him call! On the down side, I had to go to a funeral for a former coworker & friend who died unexpectedly at 58. What a rollercoaster of emotions! Needless to say, I've been doing a lot of praying this week! One more good thing & I'll shut up-made our reservations for PIR-WOO-HOO! Have a great day all & thanks for listening to my ramblings. This site is my lifeline! God Bless!
