Each tear shed and moment spent on sleepless nights will not go away during the next eight weeks, but to know we have a support system where we all share the same goal, will help lift our spirits as we continue through this exciting journey together!!! Let the countdown begin!!!:)

kimberly: What you said about your son being safe at bootcamp is what comforted me when my son was there. It helped alot!
i was hoping we would get some phone calls today! oh well, like @kimberly said, at least we know that they are safe since "no news is good news"! i do hope we hear from them soon as i miss my boyfriend's voice majorly. also crossing my fingers for some more letters very soon! reading (and re-readign them MANY times) is keeping me going!
hope you all have a fantastic week! pir will be here before we know it! :)
Hi ladies .....well wrapping up the Thanksgiving weekend. Back to work and reality tomorrow!! I thought we may get some calls today ......did anybody with SR's in this DIV hear from them????? Sure looking forward to that day !!! It has been 27 days since my son left and the longest we have ever been apart, until now, was 21 days !!!!! I am feeling a bit melancholy ..... although I know I need to count my blessings instead of pouting !!! I must say I am thankful that my son is at BC and not elsewhere - because at least I know he is getting fed and is warm with a place to sleep and most importantly safe !!! So tonight I will say prayers for all of our guys and gals and wish them well thru this major change in their lives and ours!!!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had a great long weekend with our family. Was disappointed in the Black Friday sales and the way they conducted. Liked it much better when they all started on Friday morning instead of on Thanksgiving. We did get a little bit of our shopping done, we have our tree up and decorated and the house and yard are covered in lights thanks to my son. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.
@dianne: thanks! i'm glad i can help, even if it is in a small way. :)
i hope everyone has a wonderful sunday!! maybe some of us will even get to hear our sr's voices! stay strong! hugs. <3
allie: Also, in the paragraph up top next to the group icon pik, you may want to add your info there about mome2jord's SR going to another group and stating that you will be the "go to" lady on here now. Thanks for stepping up to the plate on this one! Sorry to see you go, mome2jord, but I'll catch you on your new PIR group page!
mome2jord: So glad that he verified that address. I just got it off the RTC site...lots of info on there!
allie: Thanks so much for being the "go to" girl on the site now. We N4Moms veterans will be here to help you in any way that we can.
Good Morning all ....Hope your black friday shopping was fun and productive. I think it is good to stay busy and keep your mind on other things while your sailor is away and hopefully learning, growing and becoming even more AMAZING than they were before they left :):) They are 1/3 of the way in their training and I bet starting to really get the hang of life as an SR!!!! From everyone I have talked to the first three or four weeks are the toughest then things start to smooth out a little ..... I hope and pray this is the case for our SRs.... I am looking forward to graduation ....only 42 days !!!!!
Good morning, ladies! It looks as though I will be an administrator now, so you'll be hearing from me much more! Today I will be going with my dad to pick out our 2 Christmas trees - always one of my favorite days of the year. :)
Here's to a weekend full of letters (and maybe even some phone calls!)
