Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

I got a good laugh this morning I want to share. Our local TV station posts the recent arrests on its website. Every once in a while I look through them to see if I can guess what folks were arrested for. This morning someone had gotten arrested for cyberstalking. Please, girls, don't turn me in. I LOVE stalking this page, and I only have four more days!

That lane ends before it gets to the base and everyone in it will have to merge over one lane to the left. If you want to drive past the bass and turn and and some back then stay in the far left lane. If you can check out your route on Thursday when you get there it will all be a lot easier for you. You know you want to drive by that base and hope to get a glimpse of your Sailor or heck any Sailor lol. It is hard being on close and know there is just a fence between you and them. Makes that big fence not look that intimidating lol. No Scaling the fence!!!!! hahahahaha you don't want your Sailors first pay check to go to bailing you out of jail :-)

I'll be coming from Navy Lodge, so ANY tips at all are much appreciated. :)
We do have a small Training Group, so it will be nice not to have such long lines for everything. :) Plus, it will be so much easier to get extra guests in to the graduation.

It only took about 3 hours to do just the applique lol. But I love doing new stuff :-) And her mom is crazy about Hello Kitty so I am excited to get it in tomorrows mail. I made this one for my daughter and son-in-laws niece. She is going with her mom and grandma to VA Beach this week to see our Sailors :-) I made her sister a tutu for her birthday :-)

Let's say only half the families drive into the base. That's 280 cars. There are 73 moms on this site. Even if all of you know the secret, I think you're still OK. I deal with numbers all day long. Can you tell?

Lala, as a fellow seamstress, I can tell the dress was the easy part to make. I'm impressed with the applique!
