Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Yes! I WAS camping on the Time Clock.....again!

Right now, OUR Performance Division is at PIR for TG24... performing! All that hard work practicing and giving up their free time, and today they get to perform!

Hope we get to see them in some pics at TG24's PIR!

If you are going into Chicago on Saturday, make sure you get to the Sears (now Willis) tower early and ask for the military discount. We chose to go to the Hancock tower and got in for $5. By the time we got to the Willis tower, there was an 1 1/2 hour wait.

Make sure you a least walk through the American Girl store. You will instantly transform into a little girl, again.

There are as many places to eat Chicago Style pizza as there are Starbucks! One on every corner. We chose to be seated at 11:00 because it takes 45 minutes to prepare the pizza. As we were walking out the door at 12:30, there was a long line waiting to come in.

Get those boxers and pretty panties ready, Moms. That is the first thing they want! You have exactly one week left!

Comment by addy62 on April 26, 2012 at 10:20pm: got a sad little letter today. he was on of the guys with the stomach flu. he said it was awful. worse day ever. they missed the PFA and the peanut butter shot. they got to make it up but still. first day he wished he was home. he hates to be sick. can't wait to see my baby next week

We've never been there before (very excited). After graduation, my son wants Chicago style pizza. We won't be leaving until late on Sat.
