Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

I am a true empty nester, stay at home mom, and I only ask if she wants to go out or eat? My husband on the other hand, sometimes talks to our collie more than he talks to me. Well, not really, but I do tease my husband and tell him that. lol

I used to work as a private Nanny for a little boy who was Autistic. He had a sister who was a little older, six at the time, and she had a pet frog in am aquarium in her room. Well the "mom" always "talked" for their Golden Retriever Clara Belle. So one day while the little girl, Savannah, was at school the frog passed away. Their dad flushed it and went to the pet store to get a new one but didn't make it home in time. Savannah went to her room and saw the frog was missing and she (very much a character) put on her Sherlock Holmes detective hat and went around the house with a note pad interviewing everyone who was there. She asked each person, her lil bro Nicki, me, her grandma, and her mom these questions. Where were you between 7am and 3:15 pm? Did you go into my room? And, Have you seem my frog Ribit? We all answered her questions honestly without saying what had happened. She then turned to Clara Belle and asked the dog the same questions. Her mom (in her Clara Belle voice) said " Was he green and slimy and taste like Chicken? Nope, I ain't seen him" omg I thought I would just die laughing. I don't know if I have ever laughed that hard again in my life.

I did one from his dog, and put pics of him being naughty, then took a muddy paw print and had his pup sign it with his paw. It really made his day. I had a perfect pic, LOL! His pup had gotten a box of envelopes AND $20.00 worth of stamps I left by his GFs door for her. And tore it all up in a big pile in the yard. I told him he was trying to write to his daddy!

Things have been a little quieter on here! :o) Guess that means we're getting close.
