For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

They were told they did not get Honor Division, 1 person messed up real bad, and it cost them the Honor Division. I have the Battle Stations date so message me for Div 925's date. He lost 12 pounds, and he had no room to lose even 1 pound when he left home. Says he also lost all his muscle. :( Not enough sleep ever, Done with gas chamber, can't wait for Captains Cup and PIR.

Comment by snowskiier on April 22, 2012 at 7:48pm: My SR is in 04/811 and his last letter eludes to a call possibly this coming Tuesday. We received a call on a Tuesday evening about 6pm a few weeks ago. My last letter came Thursday. He said they get very little time to write although mail is ppicked up 3 times during the week. FAtique and feeling sick has him wanting to sleep over writing...he is also getting excited aobut us coming up. By the way, I ordered ribbons for all of us to wear when we see him. Lala was great to help me decide how to best honor him...we will all be wearing his colors, name and DIV. How cool will that be for him to see us honoring him!

Comment by Adrienne(ship 02/div 925) on April 22, 2012 at 7:43pm: Just got off the phone with my SR! The call me made extremely happy, becuase of reasons that are to confusing to write about lol. He didn't even mention gas chamber :O guess it was fine since he is alive! haha. My boyfriend is also extremely sick, im gonna guess sinuses(maybe). He said graduation went well and they took a lot of pictures of the division performing, hopefully we get a lot of pictures !(: and he also mentioned they didn't call on saturday because they had ricky heaven taken away from them, i guess because the division fell apart as a team on possible friday and they weren't allowed to go to food courts tonight because the RDC said they are all gaining weight, haha.
