CB- Hope your son starts to feel better :( I hope my bf has enough minutes on his calling card better buy some at the nex(they got to go last week or this week haha)
Wybraska- Aww i feel so bad for his GF i know when mine was late a day i cried all the way to school and for the whole day until i got it. Hopefully she will get one tomorrow, if not she has calls to looks foward to. My BF said nothing about the gas chambers, ahhh scary!
My boyfriend said:"when we are waiting to perform and they "have to use the head" you can run down and see me real fast can't get caught just cillin is what they told us"
i don't run, running=falling on my face. so I am just gonna wing this whole before graduation meet/greet until it happenes. haha. -_- watch me get kicked out or something. haha!
N4M has truly helped us all through this!
Wyobraska, Wow such great news to hear! Hope my son still has enough minutes on his phone card. I haven't heard he needed more. Sure hope it's enough. My son is so sick and won't go to med either. I sure hope they get better. My son said he lost most of his muscle, and feels scrawny. Hope not. Sure hope we get a letter tomorrow, It's making me worry.
pjay your post brought tears to my eyes. Your description of this experience is right on!
So happy that you got a letter Adrienne! My sons GF said she didn't get a letter this week which is absolutely odd. So for all those that didn't get a letter maybe something is up with the mail this week. Hang in there!
We got a letter today. My son said they won the bet with their Chielf on the hits on drill inspection so he said they each get a 3 HOUR call on Saturday! Can't wait! He said he has been very sick with a fever and coughing but won't go to medical because he doesn't want to get asmoed:( He said they are performing tomorrow for the first time at a PIR and have gas chambers right after. He is nervous about both. He said to tell everyone on N4Ms that non performing divisions do get to have "contact" with their families before the ceremony but the performers will not. He said he would be sitting in a balcony so I will be able to see him but he can't move? Not sure what that means. He also said he has lost alot of weight since his uniform was issued so they don't fit and he "looks silly". Very good letter but the sick part worries me. Hopefully he is better before they perform tomorrow.
Ladies, isn't it amazing how we have gone from no letters, no phone calls, lots of tears and wondering if we would ever survive this BC thing to letters, phone calls and lots of laughter and being so proud of our SRs and their accomplishments. I just want to say "thank you" to each of you who have helped me through this. "Thank you" to the veteran moms who have kept us informed and "thank you" LaLa for the ribbons that we will cherish for years to come! It has been an adventure for sure. I hope everyone has a safe trip. See you in two weeks!
Found it! Thanks!
over in our division section (: lol
Tidbits Adrienne! Tidbits! Waiting to hear Tidbits! LOL!
lied got my letter!(: my sister put it on my bed and didn't tell my mom that i had a letter so when i called and asked my mom she said i had nothing but in reality i did (:
