Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

I just ordered my ribbons for PIR from Lala! I can't wait to see them. The pictures all look so cute!

If anyone else from division 925 would like to order the same color so we can find eachother at PIR, I ordered Navy Blue with Silver letters. See you all in 16 days!

Comment by vivianlee on April 18, 2012 at 12:42am: HI Ladies, Tuesday is the day I teach an art class so I kept busy all day. Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement BIG HELP!! I mean it. I'm sure everything is alright and we're nearing the end. I think I have held up really great through everything until yesterday. I was bound to have one bad day and yesterday was it. I have to tell you I went and read all the posts on Facebook where all the random SR pictures are and it made me laugh. Everyone trying to figure out what DIV it was in the pictures. And of course all the posts here today. I just want to know what are all the other moms who are not connected here doing??? Thank you all again. 16 more days :)

I'm thinking her Uncle, (my SR) won't be able to make the wedding, due to A-School. :( I MUST get to dieting and lose some weight! Pronto!

THEY crop the sky and replace it with the ACTUAL SKY from a weathercam nearby the area you are viewing. So the falling stars, airplanes and hot air balloon are supposedly real (according to the site), I'm just not sure though. Seems them birds sure do fly around alot! LOL! But I've made so many wishes on the falling stars, that I'm going with the idea, it's a real sky!
