Hope everyone is having a good weekend....and, Lala, hope you arrive home soon!

Comment by Wyobraskamom on April 15, 2012 at 9:17am

Good morning everyone!

Lala I'll be praying for safe travels for you today!  I bet you had a wonderful time visiting your sailor!

Ship2/Div925:  I am going to be ordering ribbons from Lala tomorrow.  If anyone has any thoughts on a color that could represent our division let me know.  It might be a nice way for us all to recognize eachother at the meet and greets and at PIR.

Have a great day all!

Good Morning everyone, I have been visiting my Sailors in VA Beach this week and will be heading home today. I will miss them for sure but I am ready to see my hubby :-) I hope you all have a wonderful day and are writing lots of letters. Your recruits should have some down time today and be able to write letters to you. Enjoy your day, I will be back on here this evening or tomorrow morning.

amen to that! I don't remember how I made it thru the 1st son's basic journey-just an occasional letter and I seemed to be the one that always missed the phone calls home.

This site has been so helpful for tips and a knowledge of what is occurring for them.  I am not usually one for stating the obvious but it is 2:22am here...lol

They JUST finished hell week this week, and next week is about the same. They have alot of tough stuff in front of them right now, And those that didn't have a brother or sister Division JUST got "Baby Divisions (newcommers) moved into their compartments and that's adding a ton of stress, trying not to get hits in their compartments for the mistakes the babies are doing. Their plates are very full!

Comment by aj2daway on April 15, 2012 at 12:09am

maybe this is off topic, but have any of you recently read the day by day stuff that they are doing right now? (What happens at bootcamp - Day-per-Day? (Up to week #6) oh my gosh- no wonder that there aren't any phone calls and just a few of you getting letters! they are so busy right now and probably totally stressed. doesn't look like the next week is gonna get any easier either then the week after that is BS. Prayers for all of them to keep their spirits together.

juliebelle:  If you won't make it to Sarge's MeetNGreet, text him or call him about a place for you ladies to meet on Friday night.  He is very helpful with things like that.
