Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

Comment by diannep on April 12, 2012 at 3:16pm: Vivian: Peanut butter shot is very thick and large...they roll around on their hip to disperse it. It is a very strong antibiotic...from what we were told when my son was there. Some say for STD's....others say it's for everything!

I am so happy he finally gave you the Mom time you so deserve. I don't respond much on here, but I do read the posts and have seen yours - you have been MORE than patient regarding the gf thing. Thanks for sharing - he was pretty informative - for a guy! We have all been comapring and so far the girls are the bomb when it comes to details. Us stalker Moms(as one of the husband refers to us as) want details! I hope the babies don't mess their zero hit reocrd - that would really stink! Keep smiling and wow...way to pump us up! Who-hoo! Come on May 4th!
