If you are a praying person please say prayers for those in VA Beach. I just got off the phone with my Sailors and they are both home and fine. Prayers going out to everyone there.

I picture him saying to her "Princess Emily is this how you file your important papers?"

I received a phone call early in the evening yesterday, I recognized the area code for IL. It was my daughter in a panic saying she lost her SS Card and did we have a duplicate. YIKES!! I knew I had seen it somewhere in that disaster of a bedroom. She sounded so upset. I told her I would go home and look for it. She called us again at 7:00 this morning to see if we found it. Was this something they were suppose to bring with them?  Boy was she lucky, when my husband and I got home at 10pm we started going through boxes of her stuff, I flicked this picture of dad when we found it . Think I'll mail it to her and tell her she owes daddy a dairy queen treat (there favorite thing to do together) Don't think I'll rest easy until PIR.

I can see the penguin, just back away from the computer lol. that is like an optical illusion :-).

Yeah, when my ex and I first started dating we went to a lake to go swimming and he took off his shirt. I was like who's Jack and Danielle? Your grandparents or something lmao, it was pretty funny.

Hello everyone....I am not on here too often, and appreciate all the tidbits everyone shares. Hope all of your SRs are doing well, and that everyone received calls last weekend. I too was hoping for a letter, but did not receive one today....but as someone said "no news is good news." So glad to know that PIR is less than 30 days away!

Comment by diannep on April 5, 2012 at 9:44pm

juliebelle:  You will see some sailors drop during PIR too.  Happens in every one of them for the same reason.  They have "body snatchers" walking up and down in the divisions watching for those who are woozy.  My son told me that they were told:  Don't be a-- h----s...if you see your shipmate going down, catch him/her!

Luckily they walk them out the back door of the hall and they are soon fine.

Me too, sorry I haven't been here much. I have been getting orders finished and in the mail and I have been sick for a couple days. Went to the doc today and got meds for a sinus and ear infection. Hopefully I will be feeling better and this cough will go away soon. I gotta get ready to go see my Sailor. :-) YAY!!!

Now, about the drunk Tatt.... my ex was in the Army, 82nd Airborne (out before I met him) he has his "drunk" tattoo on his back. It is supposed to say Jack Daniels but the guy who gave it to him was drunk too so it says Danielle instead of Daniel lol. He also has "Made in Japan" tattoo on his backside lol, he was an Air Force brat born in Okinawa Japan.
